Dancing As If There's No Tomorrow

Springing from the pages of the “Dancing As If” series of books, the three time a year newsletter will act as a bridge between the recently published third book and the final two volumes in the WDP histories. Each issue will feature three complete and unedited interviews from the author's extensive archive of over one thousand personally conducted interviews. A partial fourth interview will also be featured in each issue and continue on through subsequent issues until completed. Also featured in this periodical will be a regular editorial, guest editorials, updates on the upcoming Dancing As If...books, a Buy-Sell-Trade section, letters from the readers and a continuing feature by longtime Holly scholar and subscriber Sue Frederick on TRIBUTE and COVER songs of and about Holly, Valens and the Bopper.

Issue one features an interview with Larry Giantomos (January 23, 1959 WDP attendee), Loran Kratz (worked for the Simon Olson Charter company and helped load the star's luggage on their replacement tour bus on Jan. 28, 1959), Gordon Bright (mechanic who worked on the WDP tour bus from January 27-28, 1959) and Buddy Holly and the Crickets historian Bill Griggs.
